Can we get real for a minute here? Building an online presence for your brand is A LOT OF WORK.

And the latest algorithm changes certainly aren’t making it any easier.

You feel like you have to be everywhere all the time. Posting consistently to your key platforms, responding to comments in a timely manner, actively engaging with prospective clients/brand advocates and influencers, turning the camera around in your stories, going live, posting to IGTV, participating in Facebook groups, pushing out events… the list is never-ending.

You invest a lot of time and energy into your social media marketing. And sometimes, it still falls short.

The video that took you weeks to build up the courage to post? It didn’t get nearly the level of traction you were hoping for.

The heartfelt post you shared from a place deep within your soul? Somehow it slipped by unnoticed.

We live in a world where we are constantly striving for more. We feel we need to buy more, sell more, do more and be more.

But when you get too distracted by quantity, the quality starts to suffer.

And at the end of the day, it’s the quality that counts.

As I often tell our clients, it’s better to have a network of 100 people who believe in you than 10,000 people who won’t even remember your name.

The next time you’re feeling discouraged about the response you’re receiving on social media, remember: it only takes one.

It only takes one like to tell you that you’re posting something of value.

It only takes one comment to let you know you’ve made a difference in someone’s day.

It only takes one person to share your post and help you impact an even wider audience.

It only takes one new client to take your business to new heights.

It only takes one referral to reach a larger network of customers.

So show up for the ONE.

Get vulnerable for the one person who can relate to what you’re going through.

Go live for the one person who is tuning in and ready to take action.

Post on your stories for the one person who needs to hear what you have to say today.

You never know who is listening, who is watching, and who is waiting for you to show up and change their life.

All you need is one.
